アブの体型が寸胴だからか、蜜を吸っている幸せ感が伝わってきます。

夜明けに来れば、花はもっと開いていたかもしれません。

花虎の尾(ハナトラノオ) Virginia lion’s heart

暑さ寒さに強く、この時期、道端でよく見かけるハナトラノオです。

"Virginia lion's heart" is resistant to heat and cold, and is often seen on the roadside during this period.

お行儀よく縦一列に並んで咲くので、倒れやすそうです。

笹 sasa

こんなに元気よく伸びてくる笹を見るのは初めてです。

竹は英語で bamoo ですが、笹は日本固有の植物なので、英名はありません。

This is the first time I have seen sasas that grow so lively.

"Bamboo" and "Sasa" are very similar but those are different plants. Sasa is a unique plant in Japan, so there is no English name.

スズメバチと遭遇する季節となりました。攻撃を受けないためには、甘い匂いの香料をつけないことが大切です。盲点は洗濯石鹸の香料です。気をつけましょう。

竹似草(タケニグサ) plume poppy

茎を折ると黄色い液が出てきます。その液をを足に塗ると、早く走れるというとんでもない言い伝えがありましたが、毒液なのでかぶれるだけです。

コムラサキの花は、ムラサキシキブとよく似ています。

銭葵(ゼニアオイ) common mallow

花を乾燥させれば、青色のハーブティーが作れるそうです。道端でよく見かけますが、一度も試したことはありません。

I have heard that if you dry the flowers, you can make blue herbal tea. I often see it on the roadside, but I have never tried it.

蟻の体勢はかなりキツそうです。

オレンジカサブランカ orange casa blanca

沢山の大輪のユリの花に圧倒されました。白色以外の花は、カサブランカとは呼ばないそうです。オレンジカサブランカではだめですか。

I was overwhelmed by the many large lily flowers. I heard that flowers other than white color are not called Casablanca. Let me call it orange casa blanca.

悪茄子(ワルナスビ) horsenettle

茎や葉に沢山の棘があるので、うっかり草の中に踏み込むと痛い思いをします。毒草で繁殖力が強いので嫌われ者です。

There are many thorns on the stems and leaves, so if you accidentally step into the grass, you will feel pain. It is an unpopular plant because it is a poisonous plant and has a strong fertility.

ダンスパーティ hydrangea dance party

ダンスパーティは、日本で作出された額紫陽花です。近所のお庭で咲き乱れていました。

Hydrangea dance party is a lacecap hydrangea improved in Japan. It was beautifully blooming in the neighborhood garden.

つる薔薇 climbing rose

気温が高くなりバラの花を見かけなくなりましたが、ここではツル薔薇が元気よく咲いていました。

As temperature became higher, I seldom see roses, but there were crane roses bloomed lively in here.

半夏生(ハンゲショウ) saururus chinensis

咲いた花の周りの葉の表が白くなるという、不思議なハンゲショウです。

It is a mysterious plant. The leaf surfaces of it turn white around blooming flowers.

キノコ mushroom

このキノコは、傘が随分波打っています。これが本来の姿なのでしょうか。

This mushroom had a crooked cap. I wonder if this shape was an original form.

大判草(オオバンソウ) lunaria

薄い鞘の中に数粒の種が透けて見えます。

Several seeds can be seen through the thin sheath.

タウベ taube

タウベは、スイスで作出されたアジサイです。
タウベと言えば、アジサイより飛行機の方が有名です。ぬくもりを感じるデザインです。

Taube is an improved hydrangea in Switzerland.
Speaking of Taube, airplanes are more famous than hydrangea. The design makes me feel warm.

サンセット sunset

サンセットは、額紫陽花ですが、装飾花の数が多く、テマリ咲きのように見えるものをあります。周りにある花のように見えるのが装飾花で、本当の花は中心部分にあります。
この写真は、その中心部分の両性花に迫ってみました。

The sunset is a lacecap hydrangea. But some of them have a lot of decorative flowers, therefore they looks half balls. It looks like there are flowers around, but those are decorative flowers. The true flowers are in the center.
In this photo, I tried to close up the hermaphrodite flowers in the center.

プファウ（アジサイ） Pfau (Hydrangea)

白い縁取りがエレガントさを醸し出します。

The white edging creates elegance.

額紫陽花(ガクアジサイ) lacecap hydrangea

花の名前はわかりません。アジサイには、2000を超える種類があるそうです。

I don't know the name of this flower. There are over 2000 species of hydrangea.
