カタクリ見頃終了 finished full bloon of fawn lily

もう、傷みのない花を探すことが難しい時期になりました。

ここのカタクリは自生の花です。雑木林には笹もはびこってきたので、肩身が狭いようです。ボランティアのお陰で今年も、その花を楽しむことができました。来年も、見たいものです。

It became a difficult time to find a flower which is free of bruise.
Fawn lilies here are wild flower. Recently, the bamboo grass grow thickly, so it looks humiliating. But, by the sake of volunteer, we can enjoy these flowers.
I would like to see many flowers here again next year.

After having been attached to a red umbrella, it became like this.
We enjoyed the display very much.

飛行機はとてつもなく重い airplene is too heavy

小学生の時、授業中に轟音と地響きを感じました。
てっきり地震だと思いましたが、後で飛行機の墜落であったことを知りました。
あの衝撃は忘れることができません。

At the age of a primary schoolchild, I felt a rumbling of the earth during class. I thought it was an earthquake at first, but later I knew it was the crash of the airplane. I cannot forget that impact shock.

つるし飾り hanging ornament

古い着物の布から作った細工物を、ひもでつなげて作ります。
雛人形と一緒に飾られますが、女の子のお誕生祝いとして飾られたのが始まりだそうです。

"つるし飾り（tsurushi kazari)" is one of the Japanese traditional craft arts. A literal translation of "Tsurushi Kazari" is "hanging ornament" in English.

These are made of old kimonos and tied each other vertically with a string.
They are displayed with hina dolls to pray for girls' growth and happiness. Hina dolls are dolls for the Doll's festival and depict the imperial court.

However, in the origin, they were displayed as birthday ornaments for the girl.

Bloggerに投稿した画像にはデフォルトで自動補正がかかる

Bloggerに投稿した写真は、オリジナルと色味が変わるので、おかしいなと思っていました。
Google＋の設定を調べてみると、デフォルトで補正がかかる仕様でした。

こだわりのある方は、補正機能をoffにされるとよいです。
やり方は、Google+の設定ページ https://plus.google.com/settings?hl=ja の
自動補正の項目をoffにするだけです。

明治初期のお雛様です。右の写真はGoogleとは別のソフトで自動補正したものですが、色カブリはきれいに修正されましたが、時代の重みは無くなってしまいました。自動では、雰囲気のチューニングは難しいでしょうね。まあ、好みですけど。

草葉の陰から from under the grass

デジタルカメラには、色々な機能が付いています。使っているカメラには、顔認識機能というのも付いています。この機能は、表示されている画像内に顔と思われる部分があれば、そこに四角い枠を表示します。

今日のようなごちゃごちゃした場面を撮影すると、背景の草葉の陰にいくつかの枠が、しばしば表示されます。自然界が作り出した偶然の陰影が、顔と認識されるわけです。
心霊写真を撮りに来た訳じゃないので、うんとボカして撮りました。


A digital camera has various functions. My camera has built-in facial recognition system function. On the imaging device, if there is a shape thought to be a face, this function displays a square frame at that part.

If I take a photo of a pell-mell scene like today, some square frame are displayed under grasses of the background. The accidental shadow which the natural world creates is often recognized to be a face.
Because I did not come to take ghost photography, I defocused the background a lot and took photos.

The letter string "草葉の陰から" means "from under the grass" literally. But it has another hidden message called "turn over in one's grave".

満開に、もう春の暖かさを感じました。

I felt spring warmth from flowers in full bloom.

感染を免れた別の場所の梅です。

Fortunately, this tree does not infect a virus.

伐採・伐根 cut down and uproot

感染した梅の木は重機でバリバリと伐採・伐根され、その後焼却のため運び出されました。

Heavy industrial machines cut and uprooted infected trees violently. And the broken pieces was carried away to be burnt.

過密は問題 trouble of congestion

写真は去年撮影したもの。
このあと、この公園の梅の木はすべて伐採されました。
プラムポックスウイルスに感染したからです。
あちこちへ、じわじわと伝播しているのが心配です。

This photo was taken last year.
Soon after, all Japanese plum trees in this park were cut down. This was because those trees were infected with plum poxvirus.
I worry about the present conditions that gradually spread to many places.

ぬれ縁 nure-en

堪えるほどに味わい深く

The more it endure heavy weather, the more attractive it becomes.

Nure-en is a simple wood floor which is built under eaves and has no wall and no rain shutters.
