ツツジが見頃 azaleas are in full bloom

今日は夏のように暑かったけれど、風が吹いて気持ちのよい日でした。

It was hot like summer but we have a nice breeze today.

御衣黄発見 happen to find gyoikou trees

全国で、御衣黄を見られるのは100ケ所程といわれています。
幸運にも、2本の大きな御衣黄の木を見つけました。
見頃は少し過ぎているので、来年に期待です。

They say there are only about a hundred places where we can see gyoiko trees in Japan.
It was very lucky that I happened to find two big gyoikou trees in the same spot near my house.
The blossoms were already past their peak. I might be able to enjoy the full-bloom next year.

桜と荷車 cherry blossoms and an old wagon

ここは、造り酒屋の裏庭です。
昔は、この荷車でお酒を運んだのでしょうか。

Here is a back garden at a brewery.
I suppose this wagon was used to carry liquor which was made here in the past times.

囲炉裏 fireplace

囲炉裏端でお茶をごちそうになりました。炎や蒸気のゆらぎは、人の心を和やかにしてくれます。

I was served a cup of tea beside a "irori fireplace". There were some fluctuations made by fire, steam, air and so on. I was soak up the atmosphere.

風よ吹け waiting for the wind to swim in the air

鯉のぼりが見られる時期になりました。

It's time to see "koinobori" here and there.
"Koinobori" is a cloth streamer in the shape of a carp which is flown on a tall pole. We rise Koinobori on the Boys festival (May 5), with the hope of boys will grow up strong like a carp and spiritually rich.

露光過多 overexposure

背景の明るい空が白く飛んで、図案のような写真になりました。

Back ground bright sky turned blown out highlights, so this photo seems like a stylized pattern.

ハナミズキ　dogwood

牡丹 moutan

牡丹が咲き始めました。
この蕾、カメラを向けるとポーズをとってくれました。

A moutan has begun to bloom.
When I pointed my camera at this bud, it held S-shaped pose.

咲き果てる carry through

花弁が落ちても、なおチューリップの軸は立っていました。

I am interested in these tulip shanks which are still stand after petals have fallen from them.

御衣黄（ギョイコウ） gyoikou

御衣黄は、黄緑色の花をつける桜の木です。

開花して時間が経つと、花は中心部から次第に赤味が増してきます。
八重咲きで、花弁は次第に外側に反り返ります。
「そんなにそっくり返らなくてもいいんじゃない」と、声をかけたくなるほどです。

今年は、ちょうどよい時期に見ることができました。

A "Gyoikou" is a kind of double-flowered cherry trees. It makes yellow-green flowers initially. As time proceeds, the flower is tinged with red from center part and the petals roll back excessively. I would like to say, "why do you have to roll back so much?".
I'm happy to had seen the tree in full bloom.

ガクがない absence of calyx

チューリップには、個人的にスッキリしたイメージを持っています。
外見的に、ガクがないこともその一因かと思います。

ガクが無いと書きましたが、正確にはガクと花びらとの区別がつきにくいので、ガクが無いように見えるそうです。ユリの花も同様ですね。

花粉症をもたらす厄介なスギやヒノキの花には、花びらもガクも両方無いそうです。

I think that a tulip figure looks like simple.An absence of calyx seems to be a contributory factor.
Actually, a tulip has calyx.The calyx figure looks like a petal, so we can hardly distinguish between a petal and calyx.Same as a lily flower.
A flower of Japanese cedar and cypress which is causing hay fever, don't have both a petal and calyx.

どのパーツも３か６なのが面白いですね。

夢の超特急 at that time the bullet train was seemed like a dream

昨日今日、新幹線0系と、そのもどきと出会いました。

東京オリンピックが開催された1964年のデビューですから、50年も経過しております。
すっかり国民に定着したデザインは、やはり秀逸です。
丸みを帯び、少ししかめっつらのようなお顔、とても愛嬌があります。

I met an initial model of bullet train and a simulant just recently.
The Shinkansen, a bullet train, began commercial operations in 1964. Tokyo Olympic games was held in the same year. It passed the half-century.
The design of early model is excellent which had been diverted to various goods in this country. A round and slightly wry face is lovable.

シャクナゲが咲き始めました

どのくらい前のことでしょう。峠では咲き乱れ、あたかも桃源郷のようだと聞き、シャクナゲのトンネルの中で、幻想的な夜を過ごそうと登りました。

前年が当たり年、残念ながら反動でその年は不作でした。

明け方、はるか遠くに金色に輝く点が一直線に空へ向って、音もなくぐんぐん登っていくのを見ました。朝日を浴び飛び立った旅客機なのでしょう。
神々しさを感じた一時でした。

移り変わり

今年は出かけていたせいか、桜の時期が短かったように感じます。

クローン製作

鳥にしては変だなと近づくと、挿し木用の苗を作るワークでした。

以前聞いたお話ですが、粘土をビニールに包んで枝に巻きつけておくと、やがてそこから根が出て、挿し木の苗になるそうです。

偶然のイタズラと云うのでしょうか、遠目にはまるで鳥がとまっているようです。

白黒写真

元は、カラーで撮影した失敗写真ですが、白黒にしてみました。
成功写真を編集した方がよいはずですが、何とか救えないかと、失敗写真ばかりいじることになります。

雨降る前に撮影終了

桜の見頃も過ぎて、今はひっそりと寂しいけれど、
景色全体として見ると、なかなか良い所ですよ。

枝垂れ桜と雪

雪がまだ少し背景の山に残っています。
昨日来れば、花びらと雪の乱舞を見ることができたかも。

花見も終えたと思ったら、今日は季節外れの雪。
今朝は、ダウンを着込んで外出しました。

すきまから見る椿

ヒラヒラ散るでなく、花全体がボタッと落ちる。
なんだか滑稽でもある。

切り花

2日間で、こんなにつぼみが開き、賑やかになりました。
感謝。

桃のびん詰

一つ1300円也。美味しくいただきました。

食べながら、子供の頃に缶詰を食べたことを思い出しました。
桃は美味しかったけれど、梨はザラザラしているので苦手でした。
みつ豆の缶詰には、梨が入っているので、食べ始めは梨です。

みかんも美味しかった。
どうやって、あんなにうまく皮（しょうのう膜というそうです）を剥くのか、不思議でした。

桃もみかんも張りのある光沢が、いっそう美味しさを増したようです。

花より団子

桃の畑に囲まれた遺跡博物館に行ってきました。

目的の縄文土器にはめぐり逢えませんでしたが、自由な発想で作られた様々な形の土器を楽しむことができました。縄文人は、どんな想いをいだいて作っていたのでしょう。実用を超えた芸術的な造形をみていると、古の人のこころのゆとりを感じることができました。

桃の花とびん詰をお土産に買い求めました。

I went to the Museum of Jomon Culture located among the fields of the peach.

I couldn't find a certain type of Jomon pottery which I wanted to see for a long time. But I enjoyed various shaped potteries which were made with a free image. While they made those potteries, I wonder what Jomon people think about.

In spite of daily necessities, they made those artworks. I think that Jomon people had satisfied daily lives mentally.

I bought a bunch of peach blossom and two bottled peaches for a souvenir.

花柄 peduncle

桜は花柄（かへい）が長い。そのせいか、おおらかな雰囲気があります。
一方、梅や桃は、枝にくっついて咲くので詰まった感じがして、
近接撮影では表情が硬くなりがちです。

そんなことを思いながら撮った今日の一枚です。

Cherry blossoms have long peduncles. Because of that I think it has tolerant atmosphere. On the other hand, a plum and the peach blossom stick to the branch and bloom. Because of that those closeup photographs have a stiff expressions.

This is a photograph which I took while I think about such a thing.

秘密の池 secret pond

西日が差し込む頃、水中葉は羽根になり、やがて飛び立ち始めました。

When the afternoon sun came in, the underwater leaves became the feathers and have begun to fly out soon.
