百発百中 without fail
目薬をさすのは意外に難しく、よく失敗をしました。
新しく買った容器の形は、今までと異なり、ずいぶん尖った形です。そのおかげで、点眼を確実に行えるようになりました。
It was unexpectedly difficult to apply eye drops, and I missed frequently.
The shape of the container which I bought newly was really sharp, unlike what I ever used. So, I came to be able to instillation without fail.

ミツマタ oriental paperbush
脳から出た三叉神経は、三つに枝別れします。最初の枝は、おでこへ、次の枝はほおへ、最後の枝は下あごへ伸びています。
親知らずを抜いてしばらく経ちますが、この最後の枝に傷がついてしまったようです。
The trifacial nerve from the brain branches into three directions. The first branch extends to the forehead, the next branch to the cheek, and the last branch to the lower jaw.
I had my wisdom tooth pulled out the other day. This last branch seems to have been damaged in this surgery.

アカシデ Carpinus laxiflora
垂れさがる細い枝が珍しく印象に残りましたが、枝ではなく花序軸だと教えていただきました。

草木染め vegetable dyeing
梅の枝で草木染めができると聞いたことがあります。
この木は東錦という名前の梅です。きれいな朱色の発色が期待できそうですが、枝を折ることはできません。

This tree is a Japanese plum named "Azuma Nishiki". Although we can expect beautiful vermillion coloring, but we cannot fold it.

マニュアルフォーカスで息を止めてシャッターを切るのですが、ときどき息を再開するのを忘れて焦ることがあります。
