スズメバチの巣 vespiary

茂みの中に蜂の巣があるのを偶然見つけました。
巣は、春になっても再利用されないのと、冬には危険な蜂はいないので、解体して構造を調べてみることにしました。
おおよその外形は、縦30cm、横20cmです。殻を剥がすと内部は4層構造の巣になっており、内部と外部を結ぶトンネルが作られていました。

I found that there was the vespiary in the bush fortuitously.
Even if spring came, the nest will not be reused. And dangerous hornets does not remain in the nest in winter. So I dismantled the nest and checked the structure of it.
The approximate size was 30cm in height, 20cm in width. When I tore off the shell, four layered nest appeared, and there was a tunnel to connect the outside with inside.

見ようによっては怖い顔に見えます。
