小啄木鳥(コゲラ) Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker

　頭上でキツツキ特有のドラミングの音が聞こえたので見上げると、コゲラが盛んに嘴を木の幹に打ち付けていました。20g程の小さな体にしてはエネルギッシュです。この時期、広葉樹は落葉しているので、野鳥を見る機会が増えます。残念ながら私のカメラでは、小さな鳥の撮影ができません。今日の写真はWikipediaから借用したものです。

It is great for a small body weighing about 20g. This time of year, broadleaf trees are shedding their leaves, so you have more opportunities to see wild birds.
