By chance I met the Cupid on a top of a small mountain. This bug has a hart mark on it's back but it is said that this bug gives out bad smell.
Luckily I didn't smell any stink during my shooting.

愛の神 Cupid
ある低山の頂上でキューピットに出会いました。めずらしい昆虫がいるものなんですね。せっかくハートを背負ったのですが、この虫は悪臭を放つので、「クサムシ」とか「屁こき虫」と呼ばれています。幸運にも、撮影中は臭いませんでした。

マダムバタフライ Madam Butterfly
バラが咲き始めました。マダム・バタフライは、大輪で強香と云われますが、この株は、あまり大きな花をつけません。香りもほのかです。清楚なマダムです。

アナと雪の女王 FLOZEN
ディズニー映画「アナと雪の女王」に使用され、大ヒットした曲「ありのままで」を当時に英語版と日本語版の両方で聞きました。その時、歌詞の内容が随分違うなという印象を持ちました。日本語版の歌詞は、かなり省略された内容になっており、英語版に比べ、主人公エルサの強い意思が削がれてしまったように感じました。
先日、図書館でたまたまこの映画のDVD（和英ハイブリッド版）を見つけたので、レンタルして改めて、日英の違いを比べてみました。違いについては、インターネットで識者の方がいろいろ語られているので、ここでは書きません。
比較しているときに、興味深く思ったことは、この歌の場面での日本語の歌詞と日本語の字幕の内容が異なっていることです。英語の歌詞と字幕には違いがありません。動画の進行に合わせて、目と耳のそれぞれに最適化した翻訳作っているのですね、これは職人芸です。
The song named "Let It Go" is used in the Disney movie "FLOZEN", which made a big hit. At that time, I heard this song both in English (sang by Idina Menzel) and in Japanese (sang by Takako Matsu). I noticed that these same title songs had not equal meanings in the lyrics. The existence of the difference between English and Japanese impressed me. The Japanese lyrics seemed to be simplified, therefore the strong intention of the heroine "Elsa" was chipped in comparison with English version.
The other day, I found a "FROZEN" on DVD at a library and rented it to check each lyrics. Concerning about the difference, there are various opinions on the internet. I don't have the intention to add no originality opinion.
While I compered these lyrics, I was interested in that there was an another kind of difference between the Japanese lyrics and the Japanese subtitles. In English there was no difference between the subtitles and the lyrics. I realized that they made optimized translations for an ear and eyes individually, in matching with a display state of the animation. It was an expert technique.

カゲロウ mayfly
森のなかを散策していると、山椒の木にカゲロウが止まっていました。
緑色の弱々しいカゲロウを、見たことがありますが、黒いカゲロウは初めてです。なんだか怪しい魅力がただよっていました。
When I was walking in the wood, I found a mayfly perched on a Japanese pepper tree. I had ever seen green feeble mayflies, but it was my first time to see a black one. It looked like somewhat a devilish charm creature.
