見たことのない植物を通りすがりに見つけました。植物の名前を聞きたかったのですが、家の人がでてくる気配はありませんでした。

I found an uncommon plant when I was strolling a road. I wanted to hear the name of the plant, but there was not the sign that the person of the house would come out.

ハクモクレンの冬芽 buds of a yulan

今はまだ、暖かそうな毛皮の鱗片をまとっています。今後は、次第に鱗片を脱ぎ捨て、来月には花が咲くことでしょう。

Now, the winter bud of the yulan is still covered with the scale of the fur which seems to be warm. From now on, it gradually throw off the scale and it will bloom in next month.
