何処から来たの Where are you from?

水場もないのに、毎年この時期になると庭に現れるカエルです。雲行きが悪くなると鳴きはじめます。

Even though here is no water, frogs appear in my garden every year at this season. They start to croak when the clouds are serious.

古いレンズ old lens

古いレンズには、好ましい曖昧な写りをするものがありますが、多くの場合外れです。

Some old lenses have good vague expressions, but many are not what I expected.

松の花 pine flower

花びらも萼もない、松の花です。そんなわけで昆虫も寄って来ません。受粉は風で媒介されます。

It is a pine flower with neither petals nor calyxes. That's why no insects come by. Pollination is mediated by wind.

ツツジ azalea

ツツジの花の流れに引き込まれてしまいました。

I was attract to the flow of azalea flowers.

五感 five senses

藤棚の下で写真を撮っていたら、子供が近づいてきて"ラベンダー"と言いました。形や香りより、色がより強く、人の印象に残るのかなあと思いました。

When I was taking photos under a wisteria trellis of a park, a child came to near here and said, "Lavender". I thought that the color would give a stronger impression to humans than the shape and the smell.

カナメモチ Japanese photinia

生け垣によく利用される木です。常に剪定されているので、花が咲いているのをあまり見かけることはありません。

Japanese photinia is often used as hedges. As it is always pruned, we rarely see its flowers.

天守閣跡 castele ruins

ここはその昔、甲冑をつけた侍が音をたてて歩いていた所かもしれません。

Once upon a time here might be the place where armed samurais had walked around with noise.
