キキョウは、東アジアに広く分布する植物ですが、日本では、野生種を見かけることはありません。八重咲きより一重咲きのほうが、より清楚な感じがします。

ナツズイセン lycoris squamigera
花が咲く頃には、葉が枯れてもうありません。そのため、ハダカユリと呼ばれることもあります。光合成しなくても栄養は足りるのでしょうか。
