天竺牡丹(テンジクボタン) dahlia
花の形が牡丹に似ているのと、インド経由で日本に持ち込まれたので、テンジクボタンと呼ばれます。でも、ダリアの方が通りが良いですね。天竺とは、インドの旧名です。

ユリの花は真上から見るとヒトデのようです。隣には早咲きのコスモスが咲いていました。

美女桜(ビジョザクラ) vdrbena
不在者投票をするため、散歩がてら遠回りして市役所へ向かう道端で見つけた花です。写真を撮っていたら、何ヶ所も蚊に刺されてしまいました。
I took a roundabout way to the city hall to vote before election day, also I enjoyed a walk. This is the flower I found on the road side on the way. While I took photographs, I was bitten in several places by mosquitoes.

お多福紫陽花(オタフクアジサイ) hydrangea ayesha

薊(アザミ) thistle
アザミは、葉の切れ込みが鋭く、棘も多く厳しい雰囲気があります。花は、やがて風に飛ぶ種になりますが、タンポポの種に比べると、やはり厳しい雰囲気が感じられます。
