ベイシーズパープルローズ basye’s purple rose

　いつも恥ずかしげに咲いています。柔らかい花びらがそうみせるのでしょう。

　It is always blooming shyly. The soft petals maybe make it look like so.

ウルメールムンスター(つるバラ) Ulmer munster(SB)

　花の名前は、ドイツのウルム大聖堂の名前にちなんでつけられました。聖堂はゴシック様式の壮大な建物です。一方、花は鮮烈な赤色で華やかな雰囲気を作ります。

　つるバラが聖堂の尖塔に上り詰める様を想像すると楽しいです。

　The name of the flower is named after the Ulmer Münster in Germany. The cathedral is a magnificent Gothic architecture. On the other hand, the flowers are bright red and create a gorgeous atmosphere.

　It's fun to imagine a climbing rose climbing up to the spire of a cathedral.

アンジェラ(つるバラ) angela(CL)

　アンジェラは、本来沢山の花をつけるバラで花がびっしりと詰まって咲くのですが、今年はちょっとさみしい咲き方です。

　Angela is a rose that has many flowers that bloom closely, but this year it's a bit lonely.

アメリカ(つるバラ) America(CL)

　赤色に黄色を混ぜた明るい色に心地よさを感じます。

　I feel comfortable with the bright color that is a mixture of red and yellow.

空穂草(ウツボグサ) utsubo-gusa

 　昔、武士が弓矢を入れる携帯容器は、靫（うつぼ）と呼ばれました。その形に、花が似ていることが、名前の由来のようです。

　The distribution of this plant is widespread in Europe, North Africa, Australia, North America, etc., but I have not found the English name. utubo-gusa is a Japanese name.

　In the old days, the name of the portable vessel for samurai to put a bow and arrow was utubo. So it was named utubo-gusa(utubo-grass) because the shape of the flower is similar to that.

立浪草(タツナミソウ) Scutellaria indica

　山道に沿って、自生のタツナミソウが咲いていました。

　Wild Scutellaria indica were blooming along the mountain road.

ホタルブクロ spotted bellflower

　ホタルブクロを見ると、タイ北部のチェンマイで開かれるお祭りで、夜空に放たれる天燈を連想します。

　袋の中を覗いても、ホタルはいませんでした。

　Spotted bellflowers associate me with sky lanterns that are released in the night sky at the festival in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.

　There weren't any fireflies in the bag. This flower is called "Hotaru-bukuro" in Japanese which means a bag for firefly.
