ホタルブクロを見ると、タイ北部のチェンマイで開かれるお祭りで、夜空に放たれる天燈を連想します。
袋の中を覗いても、ホタルはいませんでした。
Spotted bellflowers associate me with sky lanterns that are released in the night sky at the festival in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.
There weren't any fireflies in the bag. This flower is called "Hotaru-bukuro" in Japanese which means a bag for firefly.
