皇帝ダリア Tree dahlia

　皇帝ダリアは見上げるように高い位置に花を咲かせますが、ここの皇帝ダリアは低い位置に咲いていました。それぞれの花は、長い花柄の先に咲くはずですが、背中合わせで咲く花もありました。

　The tree dahlia usually blooms in a high position, so we look up and enjoy it, but it bloomed in a low position here. Each flower is supposed to bloom at the end of a long peduncle, but these flowers have bloomed back to back.

見せばや(ミセバヤ) Siebold's stonecrop

　よそのお宅の玄関に置かれた鉢植えのミセバヤです。一週間ほどまえに投稿したミセバヤですが、赤みを増してきました。通るたびに気になって、足を止めています。

　It is a potted  Siebold's stonecrop placed at the entrance of another person's house. I posted this  Siebold's stonecrop about a week ago and it has been getting more  reddish since then. Every time I pass by, I'm interested in it and stop and look at it.

黄金狸豆(コガネタヌキマメ) Crotalaria assamica

　蝶のような黄色い花、たぬきのしっぽのような鞘、多分、コガネタヌキマメだと思います。

　It seems Crotalaria assamica. The plant is called a "bean of golden raccoon dog" in Japanese. The name comes from the fact that the flower is yellow and the capsule resembles a raccoon dog tail.

リパブリックドゥモンマルトル Republique de Montmartre

　今は、寂しくなったバラ園ですが、リパブリックドゥモンマルトルは、頑張って咲いていました。

　Now it's a deserted rose garden, but the Republic de Montmartre is trying to bloom.

皇帝ダリア Tree dahlia

　皇帝ダリアは、木立ダリアとも呼ばれますが、幹を見ると木というより竹です。

　Dahlia imperialis (scientific name) is also called a tree dahlia, but when you look at the trunk, it is bamboo rather than a tree.

秋の空 autumn sky

　買い物帰りに見た空に、すがすがしさを感じました。雲が高い位置にあるからなのでしょう。

　I felt freshness in the sky I saw on my way home from shopping. Probably because the clouds are in a high position.

楤木(タラノキ) Aralia elata

　タラノキに花が咲きました。タラノキは、想像以上に強健です。地下茎で時間をかけて増えていくさまは驚きです。自然界の生命力には、時として不気味さを感じることもあります。

　Aralia elata has bloomed. It is stronger than I imagine. It is amazing that they propagate by the rhizomes over time. I sometimes feel the vitality of nature creepy.

　樹液がつららになり、その根元にアブラムシが群がっています。

　The sap grows like an icicle, and many aphids are sticking around the root.

　カエルは保護色になり、じっとして動きません。

　The frog has changed to a protective color and remains motionless.
