藁囲いは、防寒のため藁で作った囲いですが、何を守っているのでしょうか。

冬芽と葉痕は、それぞれが異なる表情をしており、想像力を働かせると、動物の顔かたちに見えてくることがあります。

Each winter buds and cicatrix have different aspect. When I use my imagination, I may see the feature of the animal in them.

鈴懸の実 fruit of plane tree

刈り込まれたプラタナスの木が、棒状に立っているのはよく見かけますが、実を見るのは初めてです。拾った方にお借りして写真を撮りました。

I often see trimmed plane tree standing like a pole, but this is my first time to see its fruit. I borrowed it from a person to possess and I took the photograph of it.

温室のなかで咲いていた熱帯睡蓮です。天井から差し込む光の明暗に、趣が感じられます。

Tropical water lily bloomed in a greenhouse.
The sunlight that came through a ceiling made the light and shade on a flower. So I felt attraction for the scene.

暖かい日が続いていましたが、ここのところ一気に寒くなりました。氷漬けにならなくても、動くのが億劫です。
