樫の木 oak

昨晩は、雷を伴うすごい嵐。そのおかげで、今日は快晴です。
森のなかで、大きな樫の木としばし会話をし、命の洗濯をしてきました。

It turned out to be a very fine today, different from the terrible storm of yesterday.
I talked with a big oak tree for a while in a forest. I enjoyed myself to the full.

パットオースチン Pat Austin

この写真から、このバラの形状は浅いカップに見えますが、ディープカップの花型です。色は、銅色と呼ばれる独特の橙色です。多くのバラの中にあって目立つ花です。

In this picture, The form of this rose looks like a shallow cup, but actually a deep cup. The color of this rose is a special orange, so called copper color.
This rose stands out among many roses.

RAWとJPGの比較 RAW vs. JPG

今朝は、弱い雨が降りました。
RAWとJPGの表現の差について、その一例を紹介します。
この写真は、自分のカメラとレンズで撮影したものです。JPGで撮影した場合、ボケのエッジ部分に、好ましくない線が目立ちます。
それぞれに、良い点と悪い点があるので、状況によりRAWとJPGを使い分ける必要があります。

We had a light shower this morning.
I show one example about the difference between RAW and JPG.
This photo was photographed with my camera and lens. It is easy to recognize that there are uncomfortable lines on the edge of blurred figure on JPG. Particularly it occurs in case of red color.
Each has advantage and disadvantage, so it is necessary to choose RAW or JPG by the situation.

コバノタツナミ(小葉の立浪) kobanotatunami

花の名前の由来を調べてみました。
小葉の立浪の由来は、花がみんな同じ方向を向いて咲き、それがあたかも寄せる波のように見えるので、この名前にしたそうです。
そういうことでしたか。

I checked the origin of the flower's name.
All these flowers turn to the same direction, so the namer considered the flowers as waves.
"Kobano", the first half of the name, means a small leaf, and "tatunami", the last half, means wave.
That makes sense.

パパメイアン Papa Meilland

パパメイアンは黒薔薇の代表と云われ、際立つ香りとその真紅の色に特徴がある人気のバラです。香りには、わずかなリンゴの果実香があるように思えます。
時間がたつにつれ、花の色は黒くなり、その黒みが増すほどに、ベルベットのような感触は消えていきます。黒薔薇と呼ばれることに、違和感を感じることはありません。

Papa Meilland is a typical flower of black roses and loved for it's outstanding fragrance and deep rich red color. I feel aroma of apple slightly in this fragrance.
The color of this flower turned dark gradually with the lapse of time. The more the color becomes dark, the more the petal looses velvety feeling. I do not feel strangeness from the name which is called the black rose.

公園のテッセン clematis in a park

ピント位置を変えて、多重露光をしてみました。手持ちでの撮影ですから、結果は怪しくなります。狙いはそこにあるのですが。

This is a double exposure photography. Each had a different focal distance and was taken by a hand-holding. So the reult was enigmatic. It is interesting to take mischievous photographs.

時により花の色が少し変ってみえます。

Occasionally, the color of this flower changes only a little.
