知人からこの本が回ってきました。
なんとなく読み進んでしまいますが、書かれたことを実践まで結びつけようと意識すると、その難しさに気が付きます。知識だけでは役にたたないということです。さあ、実践です。

恐ろしいスズメバチ Terrible hornet

クノギの木に、樹液を吸う体長4cm程のスズメバチを見つけました。
おっかなびっくり写した写真です。

I took a picture of the hornet, although being scared.

額アジサイ Hydrangea macrophyl

額アジサイの周辺部にある大きく目立つ花は、装飾花と呼ばれます。
この装飾花は、花の構造を持っており、萼（ガク）だけからできているわけではありません。ただし、装飾花は花であっても、萼の部分のみ大型化して目立ちます。そして、花として咲くこともなく、生殖機能を失っているそうです。

中央の花の塊部分（花序）の個々の花は、花弁も萼も、そして雄しべ、雌しべも持つ、完全な花です。

装飾花は、花全体を目立たせ、花粉を媒介する昆虫を誘引する効果があると考えられています。

アジサイの装飾花について、にわかじこみの知識です。
この写真では、私には装飾花も咲いているように見えます。

The individual flower of the central part of a flower is a complete flower that has petals, calyx, stamens and a pistil.

役に立たないフライトインフォメーション Useless flight information

ブラウザのURL欄へ便名を入力するだけで、その便のフライト状況がわかるのは大変便利です。

昨晩は、ある飛行機に油圧装置の故障が発生し、大幅な遅延が発生しました。
インターネット上でそのフライト状況を時々確認していたところ、4時間遅れで出発しました。その情報を知って、やれやれと思いました。

ところが、しばらくすると、搭乗したはずの本人から電話がかかってきました。その電話で、インターネットの情報とは異なり、フライトがキャンセルされたことを知りました。

インターネット情報は、その後いつまでたってもその飛行機は出発済の表示で、飛行機のマークも右へ（目的地へ向って）進んで行きます。どうやら実績ではなく予測の表示のようです。

信頼していただけに、がっかりしました。

I was a little disappointed by that.

画像データが壊れた Image data collapsed

撮影した画像をパソコンで見ようとしても、沢山の画像が正しく表示できません。
どうしたことでしょう。原因として、次のことが考えられます。
1) カメラがデータの書き込みに失敗した
2) SDカードが壊れていた
3) パソコンがSDカードからデータを読み込む時にエラーが発生した
調べたところ、原因は3)であることが分かりました。
データが失われなくてよかったです。
データをパソコンにコピーしても、元データをしばらく消さないことが大切ですね。

The PC did not display photography images properly.
What was it?
There are three reasons that can be considered.
1) The camera failed in recording image data to the SD card
2) The SD card is broken
3) The PC failed in copying data from a SD card
After having checked these, I found that it was caused by the third.
I am happy that the data was not missing.
Even if the PC had copied the data, it is important not to delete original data immediately.

海峡,ヤマアジサイ Hydrangea Serrate "Kaikyo"

鮮やかな青色が印象に残りました。ここの土壌は多分酸性なんでしょう。
