オオシマザクラ oshimazakura

ソメイヨシノに遅れて見頃を迎えた、オオシマザクラです。
この葉は、塩漬けにすると良い香りがするので、この機会に初めて、自分でもやってみようと思います。

Oshimazakura became in full bloom later than someiyoshino.
Salted sakura leaves of oshimazakura have a pleasant aroma. I intend to try it myself for the first time at this opportunity.

漂う花びら drifting petals

湖面に浮かぶソメイヨシノの花びらです。
湖面に黄緑色に映る大きな木はケヤキです。

Drifting petals on the surface of a pond is someiyoshino's.
The big tree reflected in the yellow green on the surface of a pond is a zelkova.

春の色 nature shows signs of spring

何色に春を感じるかは、人それぞれでしょうが、日本人はピンク系の色と答える人が多いいようです。

What color do you feel spring? It depends on each individual person. As for Japanese, there seem to be many people who will answer pink.

ひょろ長い桜 lanky cherry trees

窪地に植えられて、ひょろ長く伸びた桜です。

These are lanky cherry trees planted in the hollow.

それほどの老木ではないのですが、要の枝が折れてしまい、全体として寂しい風情になりました。でも、枝の先を見れば、往年の輝きを保っています。

It is not so aged tree, but a main branch was broken, so it has a gray  atmosphere as a whole. But the point of the branch still keeps the former brightness.

土手の花見 flower viewing at bank

川の土手には、桜がよく植えられています。これは、花見客が大勢来ると土手が踏み固められ、防災上の効果があるからだそうです。先人の知恵です。

In Japan, it is common cherry trees are planted on a bank. Many flower viewing visitors tread the bank down, so the bank becomes strong. This has an effect in the disaster prevention. It is an ancient wisdom.

ハナモモ Hana peach

サクラの花と同時期に咲くハナモモです。花の色は、赤、桃色、白、紅白咲き分けと色々です。

This is the Hana peach which blooms the same period as a cherry tree.
The color of the flower is various such as red, pink and white. And it is intriguing that there is a tree which has red flowers and white flowers on it.
