逆光 backlight

今日はとても日差しが強かったので、逆光の写真を撮って楽しみました。

The sunshine was strong today, so I enjoyed taking photos against the light.

ドウダンツツジ Japanese enkianthus

冬芽を付けた長い茎がツンツンと伸びています。

The long stems which has a winter bud on the top grow up close together.

コウヤボウキ pertya scandens

コウヤボウキの花が寒さのなかで揺れていました。

The flower of Pertya scandens was trembling in the cold.

鳥居 gateway to Inari small shrine

町外れにひっそりたたずむお稲荷さんです。

It is an Inari small shrine in the stillness in the edge of a town.

古い陶器 old ceramic

コヒー店の窓際に、古い陶器が並べられていました。手前の徳利は、お酒が3合は入りそうな大きなものです。其の昔、酒場で使われたものでしょうか。

Old ceramic wares were displayed by the window of a coffee shop.
The sake bottles on this side were so big. They seem to be able to hold sake of about 500cc. I suppose they were used in a general public in the old days.

稲荷神社にて at Irari Shrine

稲荷神社でこの写真を撮っていたら、巫女さんが仏頂面で現れ、賽銭を回収していきました。私のことを賽銭泥棒だと疑ったようです。

During I was taking this photo at an Inari Shrine, a female attendant appeared with a sullen look and begun to collect a money offering from offertory boxes. She seemed to suspect me as an offertory box thief.

お寺にて at a temple

ケチは世間を狭くし、贅沢は行き詰まりを生む

The note says that the stingy people lose his/her credit and the luxury invites deadlock.
