ヒャクニチソウ zinnia

こんなケーキもあってもいいかな。昼食前の空腹時に撮った一枚です。

セミの抜け殻 cicada shell

アキニレの枝にセミの抜け殻がいっぱいくっついていました。木の根元にも抜け殻が重なるくらい散らばっています。不思議なことに、幹にはついていません。
隣のシラカシには、一つもついていません。
随分前のことですが、カブトムシやクワガタ、蝶、おまけにスズメバチまで、クヌギの樹液を吸いに集まっていました。三脚を立てて撮影している姿は目立つので、そのうちに人も集まってきました。中には、一匹持ち帰っても良いかと、聞いてくる人までいました。
しばらく経ってからそこへ行ってみると、無残にも樹皮まで剥がされた木がひっそりと残っているだけでした。

There were a lot of cicada shells attached to the branches of a chinese elm. Many shells are scattered around the root of the tree. It is strange that there is no shell on the trunk. Strangely, there is no shell on a adjacent oak tree.
A long time ago, beetles, stag beetles, butterflies and hornets collected to suck sap of kunugi. The appearance of my shooting with a tripod is conspicuous, so people gathered over time. There was a person who even asked me that if he could take one home.
After a while, when I went there, I found there was only the tree that had been stripped barl off without pity in the silence.

またもカラス crows again

久しぶりにカラスが、我が家の天窓に遊びに来ました。カラス言葉で「危険」、「逃げろ」、を意味するらしい連続4回と5回の鳴き声を、スピーカから流しましたが、今回は逃げません。残念ながら、私の用意した音源には効果がないようです。
カラスは逃げなかったのですが、異常な行動をとりました。羽ばたいてジャンプしたり、激しく小刻みに、ガラス(glass)を突いたりパッキンをつまんだりしていました。何か落ち着かないようです。
カラスさん、どうか雨漏りを引き起こすようないたずらをしないで下さい。
カラスが来ないようにするための次の対策として、怖い顔の写真を、ガラスの内側に貼り付けようと思います。カラスにとって、怖いのはどんな顔なのでしょうか。
猛禽類のフクロウの顔でもガラスの内側に貼り付けようと思います。梯子の用意もしなければ・・・

The crows that didn't come for a while,  but they came to play at the skylight of my house again. I play back four and five consecutive calls of a crow from a speaker. Each call of crow language means "dangerous" and "escape" respectively. This time, they will not run away.
Unfortunately, the sound source I prepared seems to have no effect.
They didn't escape, but took unusual action. They flapped their wings, jumped, tapped the glass and pinched packings violently. They seemed restless.
Hey, crows, please don't do the mischief that can cause rain leaks.
As a next measure to prevent crows from coming, I will stick a scary face photo inside the glass. What is the face that scares crow?
I'll stick the face of the raptor owl inside the glass.
I have to prepare a scaffold ...

サンゴジュcoral tree

朱色の実が遠くから随分目立つ木です。ガマズミかなと思い、近づきましたが、葉がまるで違います。それは、サンゴジュだと教えてもらいました。さすがは、珊瑚ですから目立つはずです。

There was a tree that had vermilion fruits stood out from a distance. Thinking it was a viburnum, I approached the tree, and I notice the leaves are completely different. I was told that it was a coral tree.
Wonderful! It should be conspicuous because they were corals.

ケイトウ celosia

ケイトウの花が、仏塔が並ぶがごとく咲いています。

Celosias are blooming like stupas scatered in a field.

ホオノキの実 fruit of Japanese big-leaf magnolia

ホオノキの大きな実が、赤みを増してきました。

Big fruit of Japanese big-leaf magnolia is increasing redness.

カシワバアジサイの紅葉 oakleaf hydrangea turns autumn color

カシワバアジサイの紅葉は美しいです。葉は、まだ緑ですが、花から紅葉が始まりました。

The red autumn leaves of oakleaf hydrangeas are beautiful. The leaves are still green, but flowers started to turn to autumn color.
