ホタルカズラ Buglossoides zollingerino

ホタルカズラは、日本では絶滅危惧種に指定されています。咲き始めの花の色は赤紫で、次第にコバルトブルーに変わっていきます。

This plant is designated as an endangered species in Japan. It begins to bloom in magenta, and gradually changes to cobalt blue.

大甘菜(オオアマナ) star of Bethlehem

大甘菜(オオアマナ)と、花韮（ハナニラ）の花は、よく似ています。どちらも英名では「ベツレヘムの星」と呼ばれることもあるようです。

The crepis rubra was introduced to Japan from Europe during the Taisho era. It is a plant of a different genus than the our familiar yellow dandelions.
In recent years, wild crepas rubras have been found in some areas such as Tokyo.
