葵(アオイ)、ムクゲとよく似ていますが、枝が分かれこんもりと広がっているので、これは芙蓉でしょう。
It's very similar to hollyhocks and sharon roses, but it's probably cotton rosemallow because it has split branches and spreads round.

万物絵本大全図 Great Picture Book of Everything
葛飾北斎は、言うまでもなく日本を代表する19世紀の画家です。
本の挿絵として描かれた103点の作品は、本が出版されなかったので、忘れ去られていましたが、昨年パリで見つかりました。有名な富嶽三十六景が描かれる2年前の作品群です。
作品は現在、大英博物館のホームページで鑑賞することができます。

Katsushika Hokusai is one of Japan's leading painters. 103 works were found in Paris last year as illustrations for unpublished books.
It is a group of works drawn two years before from Hokusai's famous Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji.
The drawings are now available to see at the British Museum website.

キバナコスモス yellow cosmos
レモン色のきれいなコスモスでした。茎がもじゃもじゃうるさいので下から眺めて鑑賞しました。
They were beautiful lemon-colored cosmoses. The stems are noisy, so I enjoyed at them from below.

サルビア・ガラニチカ anise-scented sage
サルビア・ガラニチカの紫と、彼岸花の朱の組み合わせが、とても印象的でした。
The combination of purple of anise-scented sage and vermilion of cluster amaryllis was very impressive.

タラノキ Aralia elata
2020年8月23日に投稿した、タラノキの花のその後です。
タラノキの花は、両性花と雄花で構成されていますが、私には見分けがつきません。結実するのは、雌花か両性花ですが、タラノキの両性花は必ずしも結実するとは限らないそうです。
首尾よく、種を収穫できるのでしょうか。

This is the current condition of the flowers posted on August 23, 2020.
The flowers of Aralia elata are composed of amphoteric flowers and male flowers, but I can't distinguish them apart. It is a female flower or an amphoteric flower that bears fruit, but it seems that the amphoteric flower on it does not always bear fruit.
I wonder if I would harvest the seeds successfully?

鶏頭(ケイトウ) plumed cockscomb
子供の頃見たケイトウの花は、扁平で上に向かって扇型に広がる形でした。その当時は、火炎のような形のケイトウを見かけることはありませんでした。
The shape of the flower of the plumed cockscomb that I saw as a childhood was flat and fan-shaped upward. I didn't see any plumed cockscomb shaped like flames, at that time.
