　ガマズミの新芽は、羽を広げて空中を舞っているように見えます。

　Viburnum sprouts look like spreading wings and fly in the air.

ライトアップ lighting-up

　薄暮に浮かぶライトアップされたしだれ桜です。

参道の桜 cherry tree on front approach

　隣に駐車場がありそこから境内に入ることができるので、この参道を通る人は居ません。

　参道の真ん中が、本堂の正面から少しずらした設計になっていることが分かります。その理由は、諸説あって本当のところは分かりません。

　There is a parking lot next to this approach and everybody enters the temple from there, so I see no one passing here.

　You can see that the center, the longer direction, of the approach is designed to be slightly offset from the center of the main hall. There are various theories about why, and I don't understand the real reason.

滝の流れのような like the flow of a waterfall

　高さは、優に10mを超える立派なしだれ桜です。ちょうど、見頃に来ることができました。

　This is a weeping cherry tree with a height of over ten meters! Luckily, I came here at the best moment to see.

ムスカリ grape hyacinth

　野生化したムスカリです。ちょっと、栄養不足でしょうか。

　There are some grape hyacinths have been wild. They are looking for more nutrition.

誰が植えたか Who planted them?

　誰がこの土手に、これらの花を植えたのでしょう。どこかの花壇から脱走してきたとは思えません。手前から、花ニラ、スノーフレーク、ムラサキハナナです。

　I wonder who planted those flowers on this bank? I don't think they've escaped from a flowerbed somewhere. From the front of this picture, spring star, snowflake, Chinese violet cress.

桜と蝶 flowers and butterflies

　花と蝶は絶妙の取り合わせですが、桜に止まっている蝶を見るのは初めてです。

　I think flowers and butterflies are a delightful combination. However, it's the first time I've seen a butterfly perching on a cherry blossom.
