八重咲きの秋明菊を見るのは始めてです。

This is my first time to see a double flower of Japanese anemone.

センブリ swertia japonica

散歩の途中で見つけたこの野草は、絶滅危惧種のセンブリだと思います。センブリは、とても苦く、健胃薬の原料に使われます。蜜は甘いのでしょうか。盛んに蟻が蜜を吸いに来ます。

I think this wild grass which I found in the middle of a walk is Swertia japonica of the endangered species. Swertia japonica is very bitter herb and is a ingredient of the digesting medicine. Is the honey sweet? Ants are drawn to this flower.
