ジプニー jeepney

ジプニーは、それぞれが走る路線が決まっており、その路線はフロントガラスに表示されています。どこでも乗り降りできます。ただし、降りる場所を見定めることができなければ利用できません。
乗るときには手を上げれば、止まってくれます、降りるときはコインで手すりを打って音で知らせます。
料金は、乗客から乗客へと手渡し運転手まで届けられます。お釣りは、その逆の要領で戻ってきます。混んだ車内ゆえの効率の良いやり方ですが、その一連の作法に、他の乗客との一体感を感じます。
安くて大変便利ですが、ジプニーは安全ではありません。

A route of each jeepney was fixed, and the end point is displayed on the windshield. We can get in or out a jeepney anywhere on the route. But the person who cannot find the place to get out can not use it.
If you raise your hand when you get in, it stops there. When you get out, you make a sound by hitting the handrail with a coin.
The fee is sent to the driver through passengers via hand delivery. The change returns with the reverse manner. It is an efficient way because of the crowded inside of the car, but I feel a sense of unity with other passengers for the manners.
It is cheap and very convenient vehicle, but is not safe.

落葉 leaves are falling

次第に葉が落ち、すき間が目につくようになってきました。

混在する色 varying colors

一つの葉の中に、混在する色を楽しめるのが、ガマズミの紅葉の特徴です。

It is the characteristic of the colored leaves of viburnum that has many colors in one leaf.

ヌルデ chinese sumac

葉軸に翼があるのがヌルデの最大の特徴であり、容易に見分けることができます。葉軸に翼のある植物はあまり見かけませんが、フユザンショウも翼を持っています。この翼が何の役に立つのか分かりません。
ヌルデの毒は強くはありませんが、私はかぶれ症なので、なるべく触らないように気をつけています。

A Chinese sumac has a wing on its rachis, so it is easy to distinguish it from other plants. I hardly see a plant which has wings on rachis, but a "winged prickly ash" has it. I do not know what this wing is useful for.
The poison of the Chinese sumac is not strong. However, because I easily to be poisoned by a sumac, I have to be careful not to touch it.

ゲンノショウコ geranium thunbergii

花の形を見ると、この植物はアメリフウロのようですが、葉を見るとこの植物は、間違いなくゲンノショウコです。植物の同定は難しいですが、謎解きのような楽しみもあります。でも、花はそんなことに関心なく、そこに咲いています。

Judging from the form of the flower, this plant seems to be the carolina geranium, but the form of the leaf shows that this plant is certainly geranium thunbergii. The identification of the plant is difficult, but there is the pleasure such as the delving into the mysteries. However, the flower is unconcerned about such a thing, and the flower is opening there.

欲しいものがない there is nothing that I want

長年使用してきたカメラが、この写真を最後に使えなくなりました。しばらく前に、落下させてから露出がおかしくなりました。だましだまし使ってきたのですが、とうとうピントも合わなくなりました。
デジタルカメラは市場に沢山あるのですが、購入したくなるような、魅力あるカメラが存在しないのが残念です。

The camera which I used for many years was broken and left these photographs last. A while ago, I dropped my camera, so exposure function became abnormal. I had been using it somehow or other, but I came to not be able to adjust focus also.
There are many digital cameras in a market, but it is a disappointment that there is no attractive camera which I want to purchase.
