蚊刺安心器 Mosquito Bite Relief Device

2015年8月14日の記事がきっかけで、蚊に刺された時に痒みや炎症を、防ぐために利用する、ZAP-IT!という小さな器具をいただきました。プレゼントしてくれた方は、東南アジアの旅行中に購入し、大変役にたったそうです。でも、彼女の言うには、効果が無いという人もいるそうです。

恐らく、使い捨てライターと同様な圧電素子を利用した器具だと思います。ボタンを押すと電極間に火花が飛びます。使い方は、この部分を刺された場所に押し当て、ボタンを5回くらい押すだけです。少しチクッとします。微弱電流が流れそのジュール熱で毒素を分解するのでしょう。

この記事を書いている時、タイミングもよく蚊に刺されました。早速使ってみると、効果がありました。私には効果があることを確認できました。

One of my friend gave me a small device called "ZAP-IT!", through the article of August 14,2015 on this blog. When we were bitten by a mosquito, it is a device to use for preventing an itch and inflammation.
The person who gave it to me bought it during a trip of Southeast Asia. And she said that it is an effective device. But she said that there are the people who said that it was ineffective, too.

Probably I think that it is a device using the piezoelectric element which is similar to a component part of a disposable lighter. A spark splashes between electrodes when we push the button. We put this electrodes on the place that a mosquito bit and push the button about five times. This will sting a little.

A little electric currents flow, and it is thought that, as a result, an occurring Joule heat breaks down a toxin.

While I am writing this article, I was bitten by a mosquito by chance. So I used this device at once and I confirmed that it has that result. This is a useful product for me.

炎天下のシャルルドゴール Charles de Gaulle under the blazing sun

炎天下に咲く、シャルル・ド・ゴールです。小ぶりで華やかさも今ひとつ。雨が多く降ったためか、色も抜けているようです。

This is Charles de Gaulle which is blooming under the blazing sun.
Now, these flowers are all small and don't have enough gorgeousness.
The color turned pale probably because a lot of rain fell.

当てにならないフライト情報 Unreliable flight information

今日は、友人がスクートTZ202便で成田に来られました。その便には遅延が発生し、予定時刻には到着しませんでした。ところがGoogleのフライト情報では、定刻通り到着済になっていました。
Googleのフライト情報が間違っているのはいつものことですが、いい加減な情報提供は止めて欲しいです。予定を台無しにしてしまう人が居るかもしれません。


My friends flew to Narita airport by a Scoot TZ202 flights today. The flight did not arrive at scheduled time, because of a delay.
However the Google flight information showed that the flight have arrived on schedule.
It is a usual thing that Google makes a mistake on flight information, but I want　informants to stop the news without grounds.
There may be a person spoiling his/her plan.

電気牧柵 Electric fence

道路を横切って電気牧柵が設置されていました。おっかなびっくり、跨いで通りました。

写真では見難いですが、2本の白い線が、イノシシよけの牧柵です。
ここは、畑でも牧場でもありません。何をイノシシから守りたいのでしょう。


An electric fence was installed across the road. I stepped over the fence timidly.

It is hard to distinguish electric wires on this photo, but there are two electric white wires to deter wild boar.
Here is not a cultivation area. I wonder what they want to protect from a wild boar.

何が昆虫を呼び寄せるのか What calls insects?

一匹の蝶が、ガソリンタンクにとまっていました。なんでこんな所に、蝶がとまっているのでしょう。ワックスの香料が、蝶をよび寄せたのかも知れません。

以前、林道を自転車で走っていると、執ように蜂がつきまとってきました。休息のため、自転車を離れると、フレームに取り付けた清涼飲料水に、蜂がとまりました。多分、清涼飲料水に含まれる香料が、蜂を呼んだのでしょう。


I wonder why a butterfly settled on a gas tank. A smell of the wax might attract the butterfly.

A bee was following me obsessively when I was running on the forest road by bicycle before.
To take a rest, I stopped my bicycle and moved away from it. Then the bee settled on a bottle of the soft drink which was attached to the bicycle frame. I think that a fragrance which the soft drink included would attract the bee.

シオカラトンボ Shiokara-Tombo

炎天下の草むらに長時間しゃがみました。

I crouched in the grass under the hot weather for a long time to take photographs.
This dragonflies inhabit only in the East Asia. It is one of the most familiar dragonflies in Japan. We call it "Shiokara-Tombo".

長い後ろ足がぐっと伸びました。あたかも竹馬に乗っているようです。
