ハナミズキの実 fruits of the dogwood

昨日とはうって変わり、今日はよく晴れました。
周りの木は、既に実を落としていますが、この木にだけは残っています。
手前の木の枝は、もう花を咲かせる準備が進んでいます。
この枝が重苦しく写るので、フラッシュを焚くことにしました。


It turned out to be a very fine day today, completely different from yesterday.
The trees of the neighborhood already dropped fruits, but only this tree still has fruits.
As for the branches of the nearest tree, they are preparing to bloom already. I fired flash light to lighten these dark branches.

泥の家 mud house

今日は、しばらくぶりに散歩に出かけました。

木の枝に泥の家を見つけましたが、空き家のようでした。
多分、ドロバチの巣だと思います。

I took a leisurely stroll after a long absence today.

I found a few mud houses in branches, but these were like the unoccupied house.
Probably I think these are nests of mason wasps.

「犬の散歩禁止」というより、「」ここに入ってはいけません」でしょうね。

It is better to indicate "Dog-free area" or "Not allow dogs here" instead of "No walking a dog".

ヒイラギナンテン Mahonia japonica

最初はヒイラギかと思いましたが、よく見るとヒイラギでもヒイラギモクセイでもなく、ヒイラギナンテンのようです。

I thought this tree is a holly at first, but taking a closer look, this tree is neither a holly, nor a fortune tea olive, maybe it is a Mahonia japonica.
