牡丹と芍薬 botan & syakuyaku
日本では"ボタン"と"芍薬"を区別しますが、英語ではどちらも"peony"で両者を区別しません。私も花だけを見て、両者を区別することは難しいです。区別の秘訣は、葉を見ることです。
ジャンルを問わず、分類学は難しいです。
We distinguish "Botan" and "Syakuyaku" in Japanese language, but both are "peony" in English. It is difficult for me to distinguish each other by seeing only flowers. The secret to distinguish is to observe a leaf.
Regardless of a field, the taxonomy is difficult.

麟鳳(リンポウ) rinbou
麟鳳は、優雅で大輪の牡丹です。牡丹の花には、いろいろな色がありますが、牡丹色と言えば、このリンボウの深みのある紫色を指します。

鬱金桜 Ukonzakura(cherry tree)
鬱金桜の花の色は淡黄緑色ですが、終盤を迎えて赤みを増しました。
鬱金桜と普賢象、御衣黄は、それぞれよく似た花をつける桜です。
The flower color of Ukonzakura is a moderate yellow with a greenish tinge. However, flowers reached the last stage and added to a red tendency.
Ukonzakura, Fukenzou and Gioiko are cultivated species of cherry trees which produce similar flowers.

年輪が語る annual ring told
これは、6トンもの重量がある伐採された、ブナの木です。年輪を見ると6本の幹が一つになったことが確認できます。ブナの木以外も含まれているのでしょうか。見事に周りの幹を包含しながら、一本の大きな木に育った痕跡です。
This is a felled beech which weighs 6 tons. Watching the annual ring, I confirmed that six trunks had become one. I wonder if a tree except a beech was included.
The trace is showing that the beeches merged neighboring trees and grew up to one big tree wonderfully.

ハイダナミックレンジ合成 HDR(high dyanamic range imaging)
この写真は、HDR合成したものではありません。単に暗部を明るくし、明部を暗くしただけです。そのため画像は随分荒れてしまいました。暗い窓が、HDR処理もどきにより、青い空と八重桜を映していることが分かりました。撮影した者の個人的な喜びです。
This photograph is not HDR composition. I merely lightened the dark part and darkened the light part. Therefore the image got rough compared with the original. But I found that the dark grass window was reflecting the blue sky and double cherry blossoms. It was my personal joy.
