I feel certain kind of preciousness for candles which burn themselves and light up the area, but do not feel the same feeling to electric lighting devices.

ピンクのサザンカ pink sasanqua

随分、優しい色のサザンカが咲いていました。

The paulownia materials are well known as a light weight, and are also hard to burn.

The blue part is a reflection of the sky, and the orange is a reflection of a mountain shining in the sunset.

外来種 alien species

これは侵略的外来種用のトラップです。捕獲されるとその場で、即、殺処分になります。

This is a trap for invasive alien species. If they are captured, they are killed immediately there.

忘年会を楽しむ enjoying a year-end part

一人づつデジカメで撮影しました。でも、ご本人のスマホを使って、友人と一緒のところを撮った方が喜ばれるようです。

I photographed the participants one by one with my digital camera. But it seemed that they prefer to be photographed with their friends using with their own smartphone.

Many Japanese enjoy "a year-end party" with company colleagues or friends in December every year.  We share the hardships we experienced during the past year, and to prepare for the coming year with renewed resolve. This is the custom characteristic of Japan.

白いサザンカ white sasanqua

多くの花は既に茶色に変色していましたが、茂みに潜りいくつかの白い花を見つけることができました。

Many flowers had turned brown already, but I crawled into the bush and found some white flowers.
