干し柿にカビ moldy dried persimmon

知人から手作りの干し柿をたくさん頂きましたが、室内で保存しておいたらカビが生えていました。残念です。

I got many homemade dried persimmons from my acquaintance. But the mold grew on it, because I kept those in a room. It is a real shame.

歎異抄 Tannisho

歎異抄を読んでみました。
阿弥陀如来を理屈でどうにも理解することができず、考え込んでしまいました。
そもそも、阿弥陀如来は、理屈を超越しており、その大願を信じるしかないとの結論に至りました。いつでもどこでも絶対の真理とは、信心の世界にしかないないということでしょう。

I read "Tannisho".
I could not understand "Amitabha Tathagata" logically, and have been lost in thought.
"Amitabha Tathagata" has been transcending logic and I came to the conclusion that I have no choice but to believe his greatest wish.
The absolute truth that never fails anytime and anywhere is only in the devotional world.

ピラカンサ pyracantha

冬には、赤い色の実をつける木が目立ちます。これはピラカンサでしょうか、勢いを感じます。

The trees producing red fruits are especially outstanding in winter. I think this is a pyracantha and it has energy.

コムラサキシキブ Callicarpa dichotoma

寒さの中、日当たりの良いドブ際に実を結んでいました。

It had fruit by the sunny ditch in winter.

樹高10m位はあろうかと思われます。なんだか、枝にからめ取られそうな感じがします。

The height of this tree is about 10m. Somehow, I feel that the branches might bind me.

布袋尊 Hotei-son

布袋尊のお出迎えです。
布袋尊は、無病息災・開運をもたらす神とされています。でも、ちょっとだらしないですね。

Hotei-son received me warmly.
Hotei-son is assumed to be God bringing good health and luck. But he is somehow a little bit dowdy.

ロウバイ Chimonanthus praecox

また、今年も芳しい香りをかぐことができました。

I'm able to smell a balmy fragrance again this year.
