ジャストジョイ just joey

この撮影の直後に、この花は、庭師にカットされてしましました。このバラ園では、満開の花は、これからしおれるだけなので、ことごとくカットされて廃棄されます。

Immediately after I took this photograph, this flower was cut by a gardener.
In this rose garden, the flowers in full bloom will be cut and discarded entirely, because they are only withered from now on.

イノシシ wild boar

遊歩道を散歩していたら、ここでも、先日の大雨で、道がこの先なくなっていました。
イノシシが3匹、私には何の興味も示さず、とぼとぼと歩いて通り過ぎていきました。彼らもすみかを失ったのかも知れません。

Taking a walk along the promenade, I found the road was destroyed from here by heavy rains.
Three wild boars plod wearily without interest in me. They may have lost their home.

ストロベリー アイス strawberry ice

波打つ花びらの縁に、淡いピンクが入り、可憐さが漂っています。

The edge of the rippling petals is dyed with pale pink, and there is a cuteness.

羽衣 hagoromo

薔薇の花には色々な形で咲くものがありますが、剣弁高芯（けんべんこうしん）咲きと呼ばれる、花弁の先が尖って、芯が盛り上がる花の形は、薔薇のイメージそのものです。

There are many roses that bloom in various forms, but the flower which has pointed petals, high center and totally pot shape is really popular in Japan.

蜘蛛の糸 spider's thread

以前撮った写真から。
蜘蛛の糸が伸び縮みするのか。考えたこともありませんでした。
この写真は、風を大きくはらんだ蜘蛛の巣ですが、糸が伸びて、等高線のようになっています。

Does the spider's thread stretch or shrink? I've never thought about it. This photo shows a spider web with a lot of wind, the thread stretches and looks like a contour line.

金木犀 Kin-mokusei

朱色の花が咲く"金"木犀と、白い花が咲く"銀"木犀があります。金と銀は,、よい取り合わせです。そのため、私の解釈では、朱色の花を咲かせる方を金と、白い花を咲かせる方を銀と名付けたたのだろうと思っていました。
ところが、白い花を咲かせる、"白"木犀も別にあると聞き、私なりの解釈は粉砕されました。

ところで、金木犀は雌雄異株です。日本には、花つきの良い雄株しか持ち込まれていません。挿し木や取り木で、簡単に増やせるのが理由だそうです。それって、合理的過ぎませんか。

There are two similar popular plants that are now in full bloom and have a strong aroma. One is the“Kin-mokusei”which has vermillion flowers, and the other is the "Gin-mokusei" which has white flowers. "Kin-" means gold color, "Gin-" means silver color, and "mokusei" means wooden foot of rhino. I think gold and silver make a good harmony. Therefore, I thought that the plant which blooms vermilion flowers would be named "Kin-" and the plant which blooms white flowers would be named "Gin-." This is my interpretation.
However, I heard that there is another "Shiro-mokusei" which has white flowers. My interpretation was shattered.
"Shiro-" means white color.

By the way, Kin-mokusei is a dioecious plant. Male plant has much flowers than female plant. So they brought in only male plants. The reason is that it can be easily increased by a cutting or a layering. Don't you think it is too rational?

ティザンヌ tisane

このところ、天気がおもわしくなく、華やかさもどっかへ行ってしまいました。撮影者の生気のなさが反映されたかもしれません。

It lasts bad weather these days and the gorgeousness of the flower has gone. It may have reflected the lack of life of the photographer.
