コウヤボウキ Pertya scandens

枯れた花が、枝に沢山残っていました。花についたゴミを払おうとしたら、花は萼からポロッと落ちました。花は、枝にしっかりついていると思ってましたが、そうではありません。風が吹いても、枝がすんすんなりとたわむので、花は落ちずに残っているのでしょう。

A lot of dead flowers have remained on each branch. When I tried to remove a garbage from a flower, the flower dropped off from its calyx. I realized that the flowers did not attach to each branch firmly. I think that even if the wind blows, the branches will bend smoothly, so the flowers will be able to remain.

昭和のかおり scent of Showa Era

昔の宿場場町の路地を歩き、昭和の初期のかおりを見つけました。こんな家で簡素な生活がしたくなりました。

I found a scent of early Showa Era at an alley of an old post town. I felt that I would like to live a simple life in such the house.

竹林だと思っていましたが、竹が広範囲に伐採されると、杉林が現われました。

ビオラは、品種改良が進み、花の少ないこの寒い時期にも咲くので、あちこちの花壇でよく見かけます。

蝋梅が咲き始めました。遠くから見るだけで、良い香りを感じます。
