紫御殿(ムラサキゴテン) purple heart

 　紫色の長楕円形の葉が印象的です。なんで御殿という名前がついたのでしょう。

　The purple oblong leaves are impressive. This flower's Japanese name means the purple palace. I want to know why this is called palace. 

タラノキ(三度目) aralia elata(third time)

 　花も終わり、黒い小さな実がなりました。樹液が沢山出るので、アブラムシやらゴミなど付着しているので汚いです。実は甘いそうですが、とても味見する気にはなりません。でも、珍しいタラノキの花も実も見ることができたのは、ラッキーでした。

　The flowering season is over and the tree bears small black berries. A lot of sap comes out, so aphids and dust are attached, and the branch was dirty. They say the fruit is sweet, but I didn't feel like tasting it. However, I was lucky to have the first opportunity to to see the flowers and fruits of Aralia elata.

豊富な品種のダリア wide variety of dahlia

 　ダリアには豊富な品種があり、花の色や咲き方、大きさなどさまざまです。そのどれにも、存在感があります。

　There are wide variety of dahlia. These flowers come in all colors, shapes and sizes. All of them have a strong presence.

地上で機内食 in-flight meal on the ground

 　どこの航空会社もコロナパンデミックで困っているようです。
　シンガポール航空は、空港に駐機していたエアバスA380を一時的にレストランに変更しています。 お客は、食事をするキャビンクラスを選択し、料理を注文することができます。興味のある企画ですが、損失を埋めるのは難しそうです。

　The coronavirus pandemic has devastated every airlines.
　Singapore Airlines has temporarily converted the Airbus A380, which was parked at a airport, into a restaurant. Customers are able to select a cabin class and order meals. Although it's an interesting project, it seems difficult to make up for the loss.

ヤマハッカ isodon

 　この花は、ヤマハッカだと思います。シソ科にしてはツリー状に花が付いています。

　ハッカもバジルもシソも、同じシソ科なので葉っぱがよく似ています。

　I think this plant is Isodon. Although it is classified in the Labiatae, the whole shape with many flowers is conical.

　Isodont, Basil, and Shiso are all in the same Labiatae family, so their leaves are similar.

精霊蝗虫(ショウリョウバッタ) Oriental longheaded locust

 　ホソバウンランの写真を撮っていたら、チキチキバッタが飛び入り参加しました。チキチキバッタの正式名は、ショウリョウバッタです。

　When I was taking a picture of wild snapdragon, a grasshopper jumped into the view and participated.

天人菊(テンニンギク) Gaillardia

 　大平洋戦争末期、若き特攻隊員に贈られたテンニンギクは、特攻花と呼ばれるようになりました。

　At the end of the World War II, the blanket of the flower given to young suicide corps, the Kamikaze, came to be called  "the Tokkou-ka". "The Tokkou-ka" means "the flower for the Kamikaze."
