乗客は諦めて車から降り、皆無言で立ち去って行きます。慣れっこなんでしょうか。
In this island having neither the train nor the subway, shared-taxi called Jeepney have colonized as a citizen's foot. In the evening of the day when I arrived at Cebu, I got on Jeepney.
While I thought that the car did not run powerfully, it stopped at last. The driver tried to start the engine, but it didn't start absolutely. The driver didn't explain the circumstances, and there was no sign that a fee would return.
The passenger gave up continuing getting on, and got off the car, and everybody left silently. I wondered if they were used to these malfunctions.
