ミツマタ Oriental paperbush

　ネギ坊主の天ぷらは美味しいです。ミツマタの花は、ネギ坊主に少し似ているようにも思えます。そのせいでしょうか、ミツマタの花も天ぷらにすると、ちょっと美味しそうな雰囲気があります。食べる人はいないと思いますが、この植物にはクマリンという毒素を含みますので、食べることはできません。

If you make the oriental paperbush flower tempura, it looks a little delicious. I think no one would eat it, but this plant contains a toxin called coumarin, so it is not edible.
