フキノトウ butterbur sprout

フキノトウは天ぷらにすると美味しく、春を告げる野菜ですが、ここまで大きくなると苦味が強くなって美味しくありません。

The butterbur sprout announces the coming of spring and it is very delicious when we deep-fried it. But bitterness becomes strong when it becomes big to this size.

レンテンローズ lenten rose

草丈が低くて下を向いて咲くので、この花の撮影には苦痛をともないます。

This grass is short and the flowers bloom downward, so it requests me to bear pain when I take photographs of it.

日本水仙 Narcissus tazetta

スイセンには、千を超える種類があるそうです。
この花は、日本水仙だと思います。

Narcissus seems to have a lot of kinds more than one thousand.
I suppose this flower is a Narcissus tazetta.

安曇野の新芽 sprout of Azumino

アメリカ 安曇野は、つるバラの品種名です。
新芽が赤いのは、アントシアニン色素が多く含まれ、紫外線から葉緑素（クロロフィル）を守っているためです。
人間の瞳の色についてですが、太陽光が強い緯度の低い地方の人種は、紫外線から目を保護するため、メラミン色素が多いので黒い色（ダークブラウン）をしています。

"America" "Azumino" is a climbing rose.
The reason why a sprout is red is that a lot of anthocyanin pigments are included. The anthocyanin pigment protects chlorophyl from ultraviolet rays.
About human eye color, The peoples who live in low latitude have dark brown eyes. This is because that many melamine pigments protect their eyes from ultraviolet rays.

カタクリがいよいよ咲き始めました。
カタクリや福寿草など、春先に花をつけ、夏には葉を落とし、その後は地下茎で過ごす植物を、スプリング・エフェメラル「春の儚いもの」と呼びます。

A few Japanese dog's tooth violets are just beginning to come out.
We call those plants "spring ephemerals", which produce flowers in the early spring and shed leaves in summer and afterward live in an underground as rhizome.
