やっとのことでエンジンがかかり、不整地の草原をなんとか舞い上がり、喝采の拍手で送られました。広大な草原だから似合う風景です。
これは、2年前のあるフライトフェスティバルで撮影した写真です。

調布飛行場で、軽飛行機が離陸に失敗し、住民を巻き込む惨事となりました。
犠牲者のご冥福をお祈りします。

Engine started at long last, and the plane was able to take off somehow from the non-leveling grassland. The audience applauded. It is the scene in accord with the very large grassy plain.
This is the photograph which I took at a flight festival in Europe two years ago.

In Chofu airport, a light airplane failed in a takeoff and became the tragic incident to involve inhabitants.
I'd like to express my deepest sympathy to all those who passed away.

バラの香りで蚊を落とす to drop a mosquito with fragrance of rose

バラの香りがする蚊取り線香を試してみました。
煙くないのが魅力的です。でも、バラの香りとは異なります。
もっともバラの香りだと、かえって昆虫がよって来ると思います。

I tried the mosquito-repellent coil which has the fragrance of a rose.
This is a good product which is not smoky. But it is different from the fragrance of the rose.
I think that if it has the real fragrance insects will come to the room actually.

二輪事故 motorcycle accident

今日は天気も良く、自動車専用道路には多くのオートバイが走っていました。

ガスがかかっているものの、富士山もよく見え、快適なドライブを楽しんでおりましたが、2件のオートバイ事故の現場を次々と見ることになりました。

2件目の事故：
渋滞の中、路側帯を救急車が追い抜いて行きましたので、ライダーは負傷したのでしょう。バイクの損傷は少ないようですので、怪我も軽いと良いのですが。

道路に転がるヘルメットがなんとも物悲しく印象に残りました。


The weather was fine today, so many motorcycles ran on a highway.
I could see Mt. Fuji in a slight haze. And I enjoyed a drive, but saw two motorcycle accident sites one after another.

The second case:
When I crawl along in a traffic jam, one ambulance ran off on the side strip. Maybe the rider got injured in the accident.

It seemed there was little damage on the motorcycle, so I hope the injury of the rider is slight.

The helmet which was left on the road made me sad.

熱い屋根の猫 Cat on a Hot Roof

昨日、通りを歩いていると、一匹の猫が松の木の上から、私をずっと睨んでいました。写真に撮ろうと出かけましたが、今日はその猫ちゃんはいませんでした。
帰り道、こんなところに黒猫2匹がいるのを見つけました。

Yesterday, as I was walking along a street, a cat on a pine tree kept on gazing at me. So I went to the spot to snap a picture of the cat, but I couldn't meet the cat again.
On the way home, I found two black cats in such a place.

The roof was not made from tin.
