緑萼梅(リョクガクバイ) green calyx Japanese apricot

　小さな緑がかった蕾が遠くに見えました。近づけば、蕾の萼が緑色の梅でした。この木は、リョクガクバイだと思います。ちなみに白梅の萼は赤茶色ですね。

　I saw little greenish buds in the distance. When I approached there, the tree was a Japanese apricot that had buds with green calyx. Therefore, I think this tree is "Ryokugakubai", it means a Japanese apricot that has green-calyxes. By the way, the calyx of a white Japanese plum is reddish brown.
