変身 Die Verwandlung

　（これはしばらく前に体験したお話です。）

　中学生の時、課題図書に指定された、カフカの小説「変身」を読みました。主人公が朝起きたら毒虫に変身していたという、荒唐無稽の筋書きに驚きましたが、自分がそれに似た体験をするとは思いもよりませんでした。

　点滴のジョイントから、小さな注射器で鎮痛剤が注入されました。痛みは急速に薄れていき、どんどん爽快な気分になっていきます。病室に居たはずですが、いつの間にか、多層な明るい色パネルで囲まれた部屋に、自分が移っていることに気が付きました。その後、過去に暮らした自分の部屋べやを、意識することなく瞬時に場所を変えていきます。何の不思議さも感じないままです。

　気が付けば痛みのあったお腹が、自分の体からなくなり、胸から足が生えた体になっています。鏡で確認したわけではありませんが、疑いもなくそう思えたのでした。何んの違和感も感ずることなく、至福の2時間ほどが経過した後、ベッドに横たわる自分に戻りました。

　医療用麻薬が使われたことは間違いないと思っています。

　後日、レセプトから使われた医療用麻薬を見つけ出そうとしましたが、意外にも何種類もの医療用麻薬が処方されており、この時に使われた薬品名を特定することはできませんでした。

　When I was a junior high school student, I read Kafka's novel "The Metamorphosis", which was designated as a assigned reading book.

　 I was surprised by the absurd story that the main character woke up in the morning and have been transformed into a poisonous insect, and I never thought I would experience the same thing. 

　A painkiller was injected with a small syringe through a intravenous drip joint. The pain was subsiding rapidly and I began to feel more and more exhilarated. Actually, I was in a bed of a hospital room, but before I knew it, I found myself in another room surrounded by multiple layers of brightly colored panels. Then, I kept teleporting from room to room, in an instant, where I used to live. During the time, I didn't feel anything weird.

　Before I knew it, the painful stomach had disappeared from my body, and I had legs coming out of my chest. I didn't checked my body in the mirror, but I definitely thought like this. After about two hours of bliss without feeling any mystery, I returned to myself lying in the bed. 

　I have no doubt that I was treated with some kind of narcotic.

　At a later date, I tried to find the narcotic listed on health insurance claim, but surprisingly, there were many kinds of narcotics, so I could not identify the name of the drug used at that time.
