マユミのような、そうでないような木を、2023年1月3日に投稿しましたが、識者の方から、あの木はマユミではなくマサキであると教えていただきました。
マユミもマサキも同じニシキギ科に属する木です。
同定に迷ったら、まずは同じ科目の木を調べるのが良いですね。
On January 3, 2023, I posted a tree that looks like Mayumi but is not the same. An expert told me that that tree is not Mayumi, but Masaki.
Both Mayumi and Masaki belong to the same Euonymus family.
When I get lost in identification, I think it's a good idea to verify the tree from the same family first.
