ムスカリは、下から順に花が咲くので、上部の花が咲く頃には下の花が萎み始めます。穂状にたくさんの花をつけるトラノオも同じ傾向が見られます。
Flowers of the Grape hyacinth blooms sequentially from the bottom,
so lower flowers begin to wither away at the time the top blooms. We can see the same tendency in Alpine bistort which has flowers in a spike.
