ゲンカイツツジ rhododendron mucronulatum var.ciliatum

ゲンカイツツジの花は、ツツジの中でも単純で原始的な感じがします。原種は、環境庁のレッドリストに準絶滅危惧種として登録されていますが、園芸品種の個体は、数多く存在しています。

I feel that a flower of "rhododendron mucronulatum var.ciliatum" is relatively simple and primitive in the azalea rhododendron genus. Original species have been registered on the Red list of the Environmental Agency as "near-threatened species",but there are many individuals existing as cultivars species.
