エゴノキの実 fluits of Japanese snowbell

エゴノキの実の果皮には、有毒物質が含まれていますが、昔は洗濯石鹸の代用に使われたそうです。
我が家の家庭菜園のキュウリの支柱に、エゴノキの枝を追加したところ、エゴノキには巻きつきませんでした。
枝にも毒があるのではないかと思います。
