ネジバナ Spiranthes(spiral-flower)

これは、右巻きです。ネジバナには、右巻きと左巻きの両方があります。人間のつむじと同じです。そういえば、つる植物や犬のしっぽは、どうなっているのでしょうか。

This stem is clockwise. We can find both clockwise and counterclockwise in stems of Spiranthes. It is the same as the human hair whorl. By the way, what about dog tails and vines.
