ゴマ sesame

初めて見る変わった植物が、畑に並んで立っていました。
お百姓さんが、台風に備えて葉っぱを全部取り去ったゴマの木だと教えてくれました。それを聞いて納得。

Strange plants which I saw for the first time stood side by side in the field.
A farmer told me that they were sesame trees with all leaves removed in preparation for the typhoon. I understood it.
