痩靫(ヤセウツボ) common broomrape

　葉緑素を持たないので色は褐色、そして、なんとなく不気味さを感じる外来の寄生植物です。牧草に混じって日本に伝わり、生態系に害を与えていると見做されています。

　It has no chlorophyll, so it is brown, and it is a nonnative parasitic plant that makes you feel weird. It was unintentionally mixed into pasture and was imported to Japan. And it is regarded as having been harmful to the environment.
