彼岸花 cluster amaryllis
複雑な花の形なので、どういう構造なのか分かりません。蚊に刺されるのが嫌なので、延び延びにしていますが、今年こそじっくり観察して見ようと思います。

Philippines:人間と犬の関係 relation of human being and dogs
町でも観光地でも、あちこちで野良犬を見かけます。人間も野良犬も、お互いに相手を無視しているかのように、振る舞っています。人に吠える犬もいないし、犬をかわいがる人も見かけません。この野良犬たちは、自動車が来れば避けるし、むやみに道路を横切ることもありません。しつけもされていないのに、お利口な犬たちです。
There are many stray dogs here and there in Philippines. The human being nor stray dogs behave as if ignore each other. There is not the dog barking at a person and the person who fondle a dog. If a car comes, these stray dogs avoid it and don't cross the road immoderately. Though the dogs are not trained, it have got the way of living.

Cebu City: 散策 walkabout
市場が如何にもフィリピンを感じる場所です。治安が悪いと聞いていましたが、それほど危ない雰囲気はありません。でも写真を撮っていたら、後ろからこづかれました。振り返るとそれは物乞いです。ここでは、観光客に会うことはありませんでした。
土砂降りの雨の中を、音楽に合わせて踊る子供のたくましさが印象に残りました。
I felt really Philippines at the market. I heard that the market is dangerous place, but there is no such dangerous atmosphere. But I was shoved from behind when I took photographs. It was a beggar when I looked back. I didn't meet any other tourist around the market.
There were the children who were dancing to music in the heavy rain at the market. The sturdy children impressed me.

Cebu: cool sensation
夜明けの便でCebuに戻りました。
風邪をひいたので薬を飲んだところ、強烈な睡魔に襲われて一日中寝てしまいました。疲れためか、現地で購入した薬が強いのか、それとも相乗効果だったのかも。
I came back to Cebu on the early morning flight.
I caught a cold. After I took cold medicines, I can't win against the sleepiness. I slept all day long. Was it result of my fatigue or the medicines which I purchased here in Philippines was strong or synergistic effect?
