姫女菀(ヒメジョオン) eastern daisy

　ヒメジョオンとハルジオンの花は、よく似ているので区別が難しいです。舌状花の幅の広さから、この花は、ヒメジョオンとしました。
　ヒメジョオンの花は、道端でよく見られます。その種子の寿命は、なんと最大で35年と長いのに驚きます。故に、難局においても、発芽のチャンスをうかがうことができるので、強い繁殖力を持ちます。

　The flowers of the Eastern daisy and the Philadelphia fleabane look very similar, so it’s hard to tell them apart. Based on the width of the ray flower, I identified this flower as an Eastern daisy.
　The Eastern daisy flower is commonly observed along the side of the road. I find it surprising that the lifespan of these seeds lasts about 35 years. Therefore, even in difficult conditions, it can tell opportunities to sprout, which boosts reproductive capacity.
