クレマチス clematis
我が家の庭に咲くクレマチスです。特に手入れもしませんが、毎年沢山咲きます。
This is a clematis blooming in my garden. I don't give it tender care, but it blooms a lot every year.

セイヨウテマリカンボク snowball tree
セイヨウテマリカンボクの花は、コデマリに似ていますが、背がずっと高いです。
A flower of snowball tree is similar to a reeves spirea's, but a snowball tree is much taller than reeves spirea.

桐 paulownia
桐が咲き始めました。
桐をデザイン化した文様は、家紋をはじめ色々なところに使われています。

ポピー poppy
蕾はうつむいて、咲いたら上を向きました。

五月人形 Gogatsu-ningyo
玄関に飾られた五月人形です。
It is a "Gogatsu-ningyo" of the Children's Day displayed in the entrance hall. A "Gogatsu-ningyo" is composed of an armor, a helmet and other accessories.
May 5th was originally called "Tango no Sekku", or Boy's Festival. And people celebrated the healthy growth of boys. Now, this was changed to Children's Day.
Girl's Festival called "Momo no Sekku" is held on March 3rd. Please read an article of March 12nd, 2018.
