白粉花(オシロイバナ) marvel of Peru

　子供の頃に、オシロイバナの蜜を吸って遊んだ記憶があります。オシロイバナは毒草なので、そんなはずはないのですが・・・なんの花だったのだろう。
　人が蜜を吸ってもよい花は、基本的にないそうです。

　I remember sucking the nectar from the Marvel of Peru when I was a child. It is a poisonous plant, so the memory can’t be right--- I wonder what kind of flower it was.
　Basically, it seems there are no flowers from which people are permitted to suck nectar.
